In the Outer South-East Region, 5,111 people (8.4% of people aged 15 years and over) had a qualification in the field of engineering (and related fields), 2,486 people (4.1%) had a qualification in the field of society and culture and 2,479 people (4.1%) had a qualification in the field of health.

The highest proportion of people aged 15 years and over with a qualification in the field of engineering was 8.9% in Kuraby, and the highest proportion in the field of society and culture was 4.9% in Mount Gravatt.

In the field of education, Wishart had the highest proportion (5.0%) and, in the field of health, Rochedale had the highest proportion (5.3%).
